Window Locks


Although I advise you to try and keep your original locks and simply restore them to their original beauty, sometimes you’ll need a replacement lock. You can look in an architectural salvage shop and get one for a few dollars, or you can find a new one at specialty hardware shops, generally online.  The ones I’ve linked to on Amazon look like decent quality ones and are relatively cheap.

Nicer stuff can be found on SRS Hardware and Killian Hardware websites. The locks sold at these sites will match most standard locks from the early 20th century.  Note, they are more expensive though.
