1 Gal – Sarco Dual Glaze Putty for Steel Windows

For Metal Windows

Sarco putty is the best putty to use to glaze you windows. For metal windows I recommend the “Dual Glaze” formula. Dual Glaze also works for wood windows, and specifically works best for wood windows if you’re glazing in the elements, outside of a shop setting.  This might occur when you’re glazing windows in place or replacing a piece of broken glass. I find that Sarco putty does very well at preventing mildew and mold and remains elastic for normal expansion and contraction. It’s also really easy to use! Can’t recommend this stuff enough. After the putty has skinned it should be painted with oil or latex paint. Also, it comes in black! So if you’re going to have black windows, go with the black version.
